The grid inputs are for interconnection limits or other limits on the system's production imposed by the grid, and for modeling grid outages. The grid is a source of electricity that can be used to meet the electric load, system self consumption (inverter night-time consumption, heat transfer fluid heaters and pumps, etc.), and to charge batteries. Electricity generated by the system can also be delivered to the grid.
•The Grid Limits page has inputs for an interconnection limit and grid curtailment schedule.
•The Grid Outage page for behind-the-meter systems with battery storage has inputs for modeling periods of time when the grid is out of service.
